The To-Do content functionality in Commons has many features intended to provide light-weight task tracking for small projects.

New Tasks

You can simply add a new task by typing the task name in the 'New Task' bar and hitting 'Enter'. More options are available at task create time when you click on the 'Advanced' task create button (the pencil icon to the right of the new task bar). Once created, the task can be edited from a drop-down menu (down-arrow) that appears at the right edge of the screen next to the drag handles (cross-arrows).

Task Details (Advanced)

A task can be created with priority, a due date, explanatory notes and a set of subject tags for grouping and searching. This information is all displayed on the main task list display and can be used to filter, search and sort the tasks in a way that's meaningful to your group's members.

Showing and hiding notes

Notes can be shown or hidden individually using the arrows in the left margin of each task, or they may be toggled on and off together using the Show/Hide links.
