CSCU Commons has been augmented to present a friendlier user-interface for users using their mobile devices. The basics of the site remain unchanged, but the layout and presentation have been altered to accommodate the smaller screen.

Most significantly, the top header which provides the major site navigation has been reduced. The site logo has been removed and the navigation buttons, links, and search box have all been moved behind menu icons. Site navigation has been placed behind the "hamburger" icon on the left, and page navigation has been placed behind the "stacked dots" icon on the right. The site-search form has been placed behind the familiar "magnifier glass" icon, also on the right.

In general, the "hamburger" menu will assist you in moving around the web-site and the "stacked dots" menu will assist you in performing tasks relevant to the page/content that you are currently on. The "stacked dots" menu is also known as the context menu, and the "hamburger" menu is also known as the navigation menu.

Below is a screenshot showing you the new mobile look.  This User Guide is by default using the form-factor similar to a smartphone, such as an iPhone, in portrait mode. Since devices differ, there may be small differences between what you see on your phone and these examples.
