Overview

The editor provides you with the capability of embedding images within your content. If an image is reachable over the internet, you can embed it using the image button on the editor toolbar. You can also upload files from your computer into your personal image library. Once inserted, your image can be used as a link to another web page.

Image Properties image Upload tab CKfinder window

Image Info

The image info tab contains all of the information you need to display an image. Put in some alternative text so that screen readers can let a user know what the image portrays. You may also wish to select a size for your image rather than accept the default value of "Small" (20% width).

Link

The link tab allows you to make the image a clickable link to another page. Paste in the URL of the destination and set the target attribute if you want to open a new window.

Upload

Use the upload tab to upload an image file from your PC onto the server. The file will be placed into a "library" set aside for you and will remain there forever unless you explicitly delete it. After you browse your computer and select an image file, be sure to click on "Send it to the server" for it to be stored. More information on the CKfinder library tool is here.
