When viewed in lists, most content is displayed in a 'teaser' format. The content teaser provides you with an overview of information about the item.

At the top left are the author's picture, the content title and submission information. Clicking on the title will take you to the full content. At the bottom left is a list of the groups under which the content has been posted.

In the center of the teaser lies the main content. This is usually the first couple of lines of the full content (trimmed to 300 characters - you can set an explicit teaser break in the content editor to trim the content to the end of the first sentence or first paragraph).

On the right side of the teaser, icons can provide you with more information about the article. On top will be a list of indicators that will tell you things like what the audience is for the content, whether the author is currently seeking feedback or whether someone thinks that the visibility of the item may be too broad or too narrow. Mouse over an indicator icon to get more detail about what it's telling you.

On the bottom right are a collection of action buttons and flags that help you to quickly interact with the content. Again, mouse over the action buttons to get an idea of what they do.
